Curiousa & Curiousa’s two floor standing lamp designs from the new Glowbules collection has been shortlisted in this year’s [d]arc awards and we are thrilled! The [d]arc awards is hosted by Arc and Darc magazines and celebrates innovative lighting and interior design. The Glowbules are nominated in the [d]arc awards’ Decorative Kit Category, a category that showcases the ‘Best Lighting Products’ and is split into four categories: exterior, interior, decorative and technology.

Darc Magazine, which is dedicated to decorative light in interior design and architecture, formed the peer-to-peer lighting design awards to shine a spotlight on creators within the lighting and design community. Once a jury of international lighting designers have determined the awards shortlist for this year, independent lighting designers, architects and interior designers will then be invited to vote on their favourite projects and products for each category so we have our fingers crossed.

During the summer of 2021, Esther Patterson, designer and founder of Curiousa & Curiousa, collaborated with internationally-renowned designer, Adam Nathaniel Furman, to create the Glowbules collection. The collection is a distinctive set of hand-blown glass sculptural light pieces launched at Future Heritage as part of Decorex International 2021.

Since their launch at the show, the Glowbules have captured the imaginations of lighting enthusiasts with the calming palette of pastels semi-opaque shades in a distinctive style. They make for a stand-out piece for those that are looking to make a bold statement in their interior space.
