The uniquely beautiful Moat Cottage on the Wilderness Reserve estate was featured in a recent airing of Channel 4’s Extraordinary Escapes With Sandi Toksvig …and we caught a glimpse of our lights that adorn this luxurious hideaway.
If you have been watching Channel 4’s Extraordinary Escapes with Sandi Toksvig you might have watched the episode that featured Moat Cottage at Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk. The series sees Sandi touring various parts of the UK looking for sanctuaries to get away from it all, with the venues she visits with various guest celebrities as company having an emphasis on luxury living.
We’ve been commissioned many times by the Wilderness Reserve to supply lights in lots of their properties, and we recently featured a newly updated Chapel Barn Estate refurbishment on our blog, highlighting the stunning ‘snug’ festooned with several of our Ume Silk Lanterns.
So we were excited to get a glimpse of the interior of Moat Cottage in this episode where we were able to spot our lights hanging in the various rooms of the cottage.

Relax in a deep bath at the end of a hard day’s rowing around the cottage’s moat! The bathroom is fitted with a Tassel Light that features a 1-metre-long handmade tassel, and that adds to the opulence of experience in this venue.
